It is time.....

The armor is packed, everything is ready. This Pikachu Samurai will be marching his way through the convention halls of Animethon 21 this weekend...........oh man the excitement! I honestly have no idea what to expect, much as I did for the Hello Kitty Samurai. That one obviously went quite well but the reaction so far from Pikachu Samurai has been quite uplifting, and I haven't even worn it yet! Well, I have worn it once obviously to make sure everything was in working order. Some minor tweaks were had with some spots of velcro and yellow craft foam with my goal being to keep everything as nice as possible and to make sure the busier areas of the armor when walking have the paint protected. Also needed was a impromptu "fat belt" which is a piece of packing foam wrapped in fabric that goes around my waist seeing as how I am too skinny for the trash can I used (lol)

For anyone reading this that will be there, feel free to wave me down and have a wee chat! I tend to wander most of the time at conventions until a panel or something else comes up, moving around helps to cool me down. For anyone not there trust me when I say there will be pics, not posted by me necessarily, but if I find some really nice ones I will try to get permission to upload them here and give them credit or just favorite ones that I spot on Deviantart.

One last thing before I go, please go and visit Fixinman (Ben Johnson) here on Deviantart, he deserves just as much praise for the swords he has contributed to my armor (that will come late Friday at Animethon) The armor is great, I agree, but his finishing touch is the final step that I feel makes the armor as successful as it can be!
